A piano, a marble table, a framed canvas, a whole collection. We take them on their own enclosed truck, secure them properly, and hand them to you at the other end.
Household goods are built to survive a move. Art and fine furnishings are not. A chair can be replaced; a canvas with a cracked finish cannot. The difference is not the truck — it is everything that happens before the doors close.
So we treat it that way. The piece is inspected on pickup and photographed exactly as it arrived. It is padded, wrapped and blocked in place rather than stacked. It travels in a closed, dry trailer on a direct run, so it is not handled at a terminal, cross-docked twice, or left on a dock while a truck is loaded around it.
At delivery, the piece is brought in by hand, unwrapped where you want it unwrapped, and placed where it belongs. If a piece needs a crate, we build it to the piece.
Handling and packing are what we do; valuation, appraisal and fine-art insurance placement stay with you and your broker.
Quilted moving blankets go on before anything else. Edges, corners and carved detail get glassine or foam protection where the wrap touches.
Paintings, mirrors and fragile sculpture travel in custom-built wooden crates with foam corner blocks, built to the piece rather than to a standard size.
Stretch wrap over the padding holds everything in place and keeps dust, grit and moisture off the surface for the whole trip.
Piece by piece, tied to the e-track rails inside a clean, dry trailer. Nothing is stacked against art and nothing slides.
White cotton gloves, a two-person lift on anything oversized, and no forklift anywhere near a frame.
